Wedding disco, Kilver Court Shepton Mallet, 19th July 2013

So, on one of the hottest days of the year so far it was off (the short distance) to the lovely Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet for the Wedding reception disco of Sam & Shaun.

Now I've known since our first consultation meeting that this was going to be a Rock heavy affair, and with a number of bikers as guests I came prepared with a collection of anthems worthy of the best air guitar moves. I hadn't bargained however that rock was pretty much the only genre that would get them going. Well that and 'Blurred lines' - and that was down to the fact that it provided an audio reminder from the Hen do ...say no more. I played Blurred Lines 3 times on the night, when the Bride made it very clear that I needed to do so!

It was my first visit to Kilver Court and I was impressed by the venue and gardens - the viaduct made a dramatic backdrop to the proceedings and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
