Fancy dress helps too - it makes people smile before the evening has even kicked off. Some people had made loads of effort with Teen Wolf being a particular favourite of mine.
By midnight everyone was ready for a change of pace, and decade - the guests had done so well dancing to four hours of continuos 80's music that we decided a bit of 90's would go down a treat - which of course it did.
The venue was great, the guests looked brilliant and the birthday boy looked exhausted by the end of the night - excellent fun all round!
